  Rincon Point circa .... when? Undated photograph of Rincon Point from sometime between the construction of the railroad and whenever there were more than 3 or 4 houses on the point. Any information on the large (roadhouse?) structure in the center? 

Call for Photographs

Greetings! I am working on a book project with Arcadia Press. The book will be a photographic history of Rincon Point . Since much of the Rincon’s story is a surfing story, I am looking for historic surf photographs from Rincon from the earliest days (1950’s and 1960’s) up to the 1980’s—the earlier the better! If you have photographs that you would like to end up in the book, I would love to see them and have them represented in the project.  Now for the tricky bit: as someone who has worked in publishing for almost 30 years, I can assure you that writing and publishing is a labor of love rather than of much profit.
